Join Victim Assistance Specialist Tara Moniz of the U.S. Attorney's Office, RI District to learn  about all the types of fraud activity her office is encountering right now targeting seniors 65+. These include “romance,” grandparent, and gift card scams.  $3 billion is lost annually in the United States through scams targeting their generation!

What are the main causes of crashes involving older drivers? How safe are pedestrians these days? And what happens when the day arrives when you or a loved one can no longer drive safely?  This 45-minute presentation discusses these and other senior driving issues:

• The major causes of crashes for older drivers

• Pedestrian & bicycle safety tips

• Advice for extending safe driving years

• How to plan driving cessation (and resources for staying mobile!)

 

Both programs are free and open to all adults - registration is not required, but preferred. You are welcome to attend one or both of the programs.
