Car Seat Safety Check In-Person
Have an official safety check for any type of car seat, booster seat, and seat belt done for free by a police officer! Includes infant, front-facing, and rear-facing car seats, booster seats, and seat belts.
Parents, grandparents, babysitters, and other caregivers are welcome drop-in Wednesday, November 19th from 9 am to 12 pm to get a safety check. Plan to be there for ~20 minutes.
Location: the Bike Path Parking Lot next to the Coventry Public Library, 1672 Flat River Road., Coventry, R.I. (When you pull into the driveway for the library, this is the small parking lot on your right.)
Car seat safety checks will now be at the Coventry Public Library on a semi-monthly basis, thanks to a grant received by the Coventry Police Department.
