Pop-Up Exhibit on R.I.'s Wild Weather!

Arrive early and check out a photo exhibit in the lobby illustrating Rhode Island's wild weather! Directly before Robert Muller's presentation, the R.I. State Archives will be presenting a photo exhibit on hurricanes and other wild weather in Rhode Island, telling the story of how we prepared for, reacted to, and recovered from weather-related impacts dating as far back as colonial times. The exhibit includes archival documents and objects from severe weather events throughout Rhode Island's history, including Hurricane Carol, the Blizzard of 1978, and the flooding that occurred in 2010.

The "Wild Weather" exhibit will be up from 4:15 - 6:15 PM on Thursday, April 23rd in the lobby of the Coventry Public Library / Town Hall.
